About Design and Craft
Designer and wood worker, Gilbert Han, combines the simplicity of modern design with a world of natural wood. His ambition is to produce for everyday use that make a difference, attract positive attention and become a source of joy in our daily lives.
Design and Craft was born under the mindset of eliminating over accessorized living things and focusing primary on letting the natural quality of wood of the product speak for itself. All my designs are generated under three standard rules: quality, handmade and simple.

I believe quality comes from material itself
I love to spend time to pick good quality wood in our local wood shop. Examining raw wood’s condition is the opportunity I can feel natural wood. And process of giving new life with purpose into those woods are very pleading process with lots of hand craft, good energy and intentions.
