Skill Used: After Effects, Photoshop
Working with the script I selected, John Cage’s interview about silence, visually represent this text as spoken word in a video. While I work on this project, I mainly consider how I express John Cage’s essence about silence using typographic elements and motion. How do we hear voices with our eyes. I explored color, texture and shape with photoshop first with the consideration John Cage’s core message in the interview, but not with literal representational images. I challenged myself to use unconventional ways of visually representing speech.
